§ 6.1. Payment for Monthly Fixed and Monthly Flex
You can pay both Monthly Fixed and Monthly Flex with direct debit or RCP (Recurring Card Payment).

Direct debit is linked to a bank account. It involves automatically withdrawing money from your bank account every month. To set up a direct debit agreement, you must:

  • Have a Swedish personal identification number (YYYYMMDD-NNNN).
  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a Swedish bank account number.
  • Be able to provide a Swedish ID.

By signing a consent form, you allow the Foundation for Physical Activity at Lund University (Gerdahallen) to withdraw funds from the specified bank account on the due date.

RCP is linked to a bank card. Recurring Card Payment involves automatically withdrawing money from your bank card every month. By signing an RCP agreement, you allow the Foundation for Physical Activity at Lund University (Gerdahallen) to withdraw funds from the specified bank card on the due date.

You pay in advance with direct debit and RCP. This means that the money withdrawn in January is for February, and so on. We withdraw the money on the 27th of each month, starting from the nearest possible payment day after you have signed the agreement.

You pay the first time you sign the direct debit or RCP agreement. If you sign the agreement before the 15th of the month, you pay for the remaining days of the month. If you sign the agreement after the 15th of the month, you pay for the remaining days of the month and the entire next month. Regardless of when you sign the agreement, the price per day remains the same.

There must be sufficient funds in your account. If we cannot withdraw the monthly payment, we will try again the next day. We attempt payment three times. If it fails after three attempts, we send an invoice with a monthly and billing fee to your email. Your training card will be blocked until we receive your payment.

We send reminders before the invoice due date. A reminder fee will be added. After two reminders, we send the invoice to collection.

If you do not pay your monthly fee for 3 months, we will:

  • Terminate your training card
  • Send an invoice for the remaining binding period plus a billing fee
  • Have the right to refuse if you want to sign a new direct debit agreement.

§ 7. Discounts
To avail any discounts, you must provide a certificate confirming your eligibility. To retain any discount on Monthly Fixed, you must present a new certificate no later than 30 days before the binding period expires. Otherwise, the subscription reverts to the regular price. To retain any discount on Monthly Flex, you must present a new certificate no later than 30 days before the old certificate expires. Otherwise, the subscription reverts to the regular price.

§ 8. Freezing
You can freeze Monthly Flex without a specific reason. If you have the Monthly Flex subscription, you can freeze your card a maximum of 2 times per year for 30-90 days each time. However, if you have Monthly Fixed, you cannot freeze your card without a specific reason.

Medical certificates and certificates for studies elsewhere entitle you to freezing. Regardless of the subscription, you have the right to freeze your card if you become ill or travel away for studies. You must then provide a medical or study certificate. The minimum number of days is 30, and the maximum number of months is 6 per calendar year. You can freeze your card a maximum of 2 times per year.

§ 9. Termination
You can terminate your direct debit agreement in our app or on the website under “My Pages.” Terminate the agreement before the 20th of the month you want it to end. Otherwise, the system may deduct funds for the next month. We send a confirmation to your email when we receive your termination. Contact customer service if you need assistance with terminating your agreement.

Avoid stopping the direct debit via your bank – it counts as a breach of contract. You will then receive an invoice for any remaining amount for the binding period. Your training card will be blocked until you pay the invoice.
