Here you can train around the clock in spacious halls of 1500 square metres. We have plenty of barbell platforms, various cardio machines, open training areas and modern strength equipment. If you want to take your training to the next level, we offer both personal training and group classes.<\/p>\n

Massage<\/h2>\n

We offer classic relaxing massage and more specific massage for muscular tension. Our methods have been developed and prepared in consultation with doctors, physiologists and physiotherapists. Tests<\/h2>\n

We offer different types of fitness tests. When doing a fitness test, you will find out your physical capacity and what you need to adapt in your training. Find out our tests in the list. To book an appointment or if you have questions, please email our test manager Ulf Malmsten. Physiotherapy<\/h2>\n

Gerdahallen’s physiotherapists have long experience and great competence in the field and help you on the right path. Common problems talking to a physiotherapist can be acute pain in the back, neck or shoulder, such as pain that has occurred in connection with exercise or prolonged pain in muscles and joints. After a discussion with you, our physiotherapists make an assessment of your problems. You will receive answers on what it may be due to and how you should proceed to treat them.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Senior
activity<\/h2>\n

Senior weeks are organized at Gerdahallen at regular intervals. Our senior week can take place both indoors and outdoors. We offer a schedule with different forms of training and a lot of extra workouts with different specializations. The week ends with a dance session that provides a wonderful community and training joy. Pregnant \/ maternity training<\/h2>\n

We offer training for you who are expecting a child and for you who have just given birth. Get started with training in a constructive way. Exercising is good for your body and mind. Children can attend our classes without adult supervision from the year they turn 12. When accompanied by a designated adult, they can also use the gym. Teenagers can use the gym without adult supervision from the year they turn 15. For more information about youth training, please refer to the Children and Teenagers<\/em> section on this page.<\/p>\n

Anti-doping policy<\/h3>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Gerdahallen actively works to be a doping-free training facility. Doping is not in line with the basic principles of sport and society and is therefore not welcome here. Furthermore, we stand for clean and healthy training without the use of doping substances, alcohol and narcotics.<\/p>\n

We define doping substances as set out in the Swedish anti-doping sport regulations and the Swedish law prohibiting doping substances. We cooperate with the police in our efforts.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

Book online and check in at reception<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can book your place for a group training class via our website or app. Bookings can be made up to 6 days in advance, and you can have a maximum of 5 active bookings at any one time. Special rules apply for workshops and special classes.<\/p>\n

When you arrive at the gym, you must check in for the class using one of the screens at the reception. You can check in from 2 hours before the class starts, and you must check in no later than 5 minutes before the class starts. If you arrive later than 5 minutes before the class starts, it will be considered a missed booking. You will receive a missed booking email and your place will be released for drop in. If you still wish to attend the class, you can do so via drop in.<\/p>\n

You can join the waiting list if the class is full<\/strong><\/p>\n

If a class is fully booked, you can place a reservation on the waiting list. This reservation will be converted to a regular booking if someone cancels at least 2 hours before the class starts and you are number one on the waiting list.<\/p>\n

Did you not get a place in the class? It might still be worth coming to the gym. Exactly 5 minutes before the class starts, we will release any unused places. If you stand by the check-in screen, you might still be able to get a place.<\/p>\n

You do not always have to book in advance<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can join a class by booking a drop-in place at one of the reception screens. This is possible from 2 hours before the class starts. However, if you want to be guaranteed a place, you must book in advance.<\/p>\n

You can book classes via our app or website<\/strong><\/p>\n

The easiest way to book a group class is by using our app. If you prefer to book through the website, follow these steps:<\/p>\n

  1. Go to the schedule page<\/a> in the top menu.<\/li>\n
  2. Click on Group Training Schedule, <\/em>then Book<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  3. Choose the desired class and click on Book<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  4. Log in using your personal login details.
    \n(Please refer to the App<\/em> section on this page for more information.)<\/li>\n
  5. You have now booked the class. You will see a confirmation above the schedule.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Guest bookings are available<\/strong><\/p>\n

    If you do not have a Gerdahallen card, you can still make a guest booking through customer service. We will need your name and personal identity number. The booking rules are the same as for regular class bookings.<\/p>\n
